- Kamakura-bori is a traditional form of Japanese hand carved lacquerware originating from the city of Kamakura. The craft dates back to the Kamakura period (1185-1333).
- This is a great example of the style from the mid-20th century, featuring a carved leaf or fern pattern.
- 6cm high x 23cm diameter.
- In very good condition. Light marks and blemishes, nothing too obvious.
